Wendtii Red

Cryptocoryne wendtii ‘Red’ is a popular and hardy crypt variety with wavy, reddish-brown leaves that add warm contrast to planted tanks. It adapts well to a range of conditions and is ideal for midground placement in low- to medium-tech aquariums.

• Light Level: Low to Medium (AquaSky or Fluval 3.0 recommended)
• Placement: Rooted in substrate
• Fertilization: Benefits from root tabs (Easy Root Tabs or Seachem Root Tabs) and occasional liquid dosing with Easy Green or Seachem Flourish
• CO₂: Not required, but enhances color and growth in higher light setups
• Notes: May melt initially when introduced but regrows reliably once established
