Sword Plant

Anubias ‘Sword Leaf’ (such as Anubias afzelii) is a larger-growing Anubias variety with long, lance-shaped leaves resembling a sword plant but with the same slow growth and hardy nature Anubias are known for. Ideal for mid- to background use, it provides vertical interest without demanding care.

• Light Level: Low to Medium (AquaSky or Fluval 3.0 suitable)
• Placement: Attach to rock or driftwood; do not bury rhizome in substrate
• Fertilization: Benefits from liquid fertilizers like Easy Green or Seachem Flourish
• CO₂: Not required, but supports fuller growth in high-light setups
• Notes: Leaves can grow quite long—great for larger tanks and low-maintenance aquascapes
