Red Banded Leporinus are striking South American fish known for their bold horizontal red and black banding and strong swimming behavior. Semi-aggressive and energetic, they do best in large tanks with fast-moving tankmates and secure lids, as they are skilled jumpers.

  • Temperament: Semi-aggressive; may nip fins or bully smaller/slower fish
