L310 Rusty Pleco

Rusty Plecos (L310), also known as Panaque sp. L310, are attractive South American plecos named for their reddish-brown body and subtle striping. They are peaceful wood-eaters that thrive in well-maintained aquariums with lots of driftwood and subdued lighting.

• Hardness: 5–15 dGH

• Temperament: Peaceful; may be territorial with other plecos

• Recommended Group Size: Singly or with non-competing bottom dwellers

• Max Size: 6–8 inches

• Diet: Fluval Bug Bites Pleco Formula, Hikari Algae Wafers, blanched vegetables (zucchini, cucumber), and plenty of driftwood for rasping
