Hypsophrys Nicaraguensis
Nicaraguan Cichlids (Hypsophrys nicaraguensis) are colorful and peaceful Central American cichlids known for their shimmering gold, blue, and orange coloration. Unlike many other cichlids in their size class, they are relatively calm and make excellent additions to community cichlid tanks. They prefer sandy substrates, rocky cover, and stable water parameters.
