Dojo Loaches are hardy, eel-like bottom dwellers known for their playful behavior and ability to detect pressure changes—earning them the nickname “weather loach.” They’re peaceful, cold-water tolerant, and enjoy burrowing and socializing with other loaches.

  • Temperature: 65–75°F (can tolerate lower)

  • pH: 6.5–8.0 (Adapted to Tallahassee tap water)

  • Hardness: 5–15 dGH

  • Temperament: Peaceful and social

  • Recommended Group Size: 3 or more

  • Minimum Tank Size: 40 gallons

  • Max Size: 8–12 inches

  • Diet: Fluval Bug Bites Bottom Feeder Formula, Hikari Sinking Wafers, frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and scavenged flakes or pellets
