Assorted Swordtails

Assorted Swordtails are colorful, active livebearers known for the elongated lower tail fin—or "sword"—found on males. Available in a wide variety of colors and patterns, they are hardy and peaceful fish that do well in community aquariums. Swordtails are prolific breeders and thrive in well-maintained, moderately planted tanks.

• Recommended Group Size: Groups of 4 or more; keep a ratio of 2–3 females per male

• Diet: Fluval Bug Bites Tropical Formula, Hikari Micro Pellets, supplemented with vegetable-based flakes, frozen brine shrimp, and blanched greens
